They are being made now, Mike is doing a production run of 30 braces for the MG boys - yes 30 - and ours will be made after the MG ones.
I think Mike is going to send me all 10 braces in bulk, then people can order them through myself.
Last I heard from Mike the other day was that he had just finished a run of 30 MG braces and was about to start on ours, hopefully shouldn't be too long now.
I'm 90% definate Rob, I just want to see a finished one before I commit. But assuming it looks ok then I will have a cheque in the post straight away to you. Sorry to be a pain but I never buy things without seeing one first if only in pics.

I'm still dithering a bit on this. I love the concept and I'm still interested but I'd like to see a pic of the finished article, and I'm not sure about the level of cutting of carpet required.
Can it be put back to standard looking fairly easily? i.e. replace the carpet etc without looking like someone's hacked it around.
Money's a little tight too (just bought new suspension) but there's a couple of things I've been meaning to sell on Ebay, so if they go then I'll pay via Paypal.

I am confident the car could be returned to standard without looking much different, the only person responsible for 'hacking' up your carpet would be you! Only a small slit should be required to fit. I have emailed Mike, awaiting his reply.

Ideally I'd like to see a pic of the production brace, in situ, with the trim back in place. I'm visualising it being fairly stealthy with the bar section removed.
Rob have you replaced your side carpet trim? If so could you get me a pic?
Sorry to be a pain, I really do want one of these braces but this is my only worry.

The "young" part isn't too appropriate though, let's just say I'm on a slippery slope to that age where life is said to begin!
