Few issues

First one is the common front and rear lights steaming up so will see what the dealer says about this.

The 2nd is the petrol cap doesn't fit flush with the body, had a look at my sister's Ibiza and hers does. Anyone know if there is a way of altering it?

And finally, the rear discs, there seems to be sections on the disc where the pad isn't touching, done around 400miles in it this weekend, and there is still rust at the end of the journey around the edges of the disc, coming in around 15mm.

Other than that, I absolutely love the car! So much better than my mk2, and eats up the motorway very nicely...did Derby to Blackpool in an hour and 45 today

The fuel cap seems to be a common (well I say common) problem!

Mike_OBD's 2 mk4 dont sit flush.... mine does tho

Id say take it back, and blag new stuff!

take it back and get it sorted if the fuel flap is not flush,

but do check that the cap retainer is not knoted up or too twisted cos that sometimes stops the flap from shutting.

I'll have a look at the fuel cap, but will probably just book it in and see if I get a Leon courtesy car!

One more thing I forgot...how is the rear wiper! Think this will be changed to a Polo aero one once I know for sure which parts I need. So if anyone can recommend..

Bought the rear wiper today from VAG Parts, so will hopefully fit it this weekend if it arrives. Is it a 5minute job?

Think its pretty much a five minute job. Sure I read somewhere that you have to file down a little bit of the cap to fit it on?

I bought the Polo aero wiper 2003 onwards. Typed it Polo wiper in the search at top and was first one out. I hope its right one.

The new Ibiza facelift rear wiper looks like a proper one at last. Wonder if that'll fit onto an 'old shape' MK4 without much hassle?

Its a terrible design the rear one, my front's aren't too bad but will replace with aero ones when the facelift comes out so not trying to work out which ones fit.

My front blades work fine. When i clean it i polish the windscreen with some window polish, also wiping the **** off the blades and then tip some rain x on them and they work superb.

No, i polish the windscreen with some autoglym window polish stuff, and also wipe the blades with it to get all the crap off, then tip rain x on the screen and polish in.

never liked Rain X, always cocks the blades up too quickly.

Just want a nother set of aero's as they are so much better than the standard crap stuff
