Yeah, I think that they are the H4's as the GTI headlights look a bit different. Like you can see on the pic below, the GTI headlights have a clear circle section on the inside and a separate squareish section on the outside of the headlight :
But it got me wondering?? If its got a new front bumper, headlights and grill.............has it ever been in an accident by any chance?? Because no-one of right mind would just downgrade their headlights for no reason?

Sorry mate, didnt realise it used to have Morretes before. I thought it had the lights shown. If it used to have morettes then I'd also be fitting any other normal lights that fitted (no offence to Morrete fans). And by new bumper I meant the bodykit bumper, not the one he has just fitted. The car looks really good now mate, just need to lower it
Non cupra/GTI lights have one H4 bulb per headlight. GTI and Cupras have 2 H1 bulbs per headlight. But to make matters more confusing, Electro ted has non cupra lights on a cupra.
Electro Ted: I love your photos, what camera do you use??
off topic a bit im affriad but i just lowered my car on coilovers and rubs like a bitchon every corner when theres a bit of suspension travel, and when i brake harsh... im on 17s and hoping ill beable to see where its rubbing in the morning... i hope i dont have to raise it i sits really nice at the minute.
Im hoping its going to be on the arch linner or something...
Anyonegive me an idea where it might/will be rubbing? rubs on both sides at the front
When I had lowered mine for the first time (apx -65mm), it was rubbing like hell on every corner. I had to raise it 10mm and now only rubs on full lock. There are 2 places where your car is gone rub. As you can see from the photo below, one is the random bulge in the arch lining. I just cut/grinded it away.
Second place where it might rub is the arch lip+ arch lip lining. Once again a bit of angle grinding should sort that out. But do have a play around with the coilover heights, as its sometimes better to have the car 5mm higher, then have to grind half the arch away. Personally I've spent about 4 hours just tweaking the ride height and stiffness of the coilovers. Always adjusted it, took it for a spin to my favourite big roundabout (to see if it rubs under hard cornering), and then adjusted it again if required. Has been running the same height since and its perfect.
nice one fella, i think the lining needs adapting pretty badly... looked this morning it rubbing on the random bulge (technical term) and its just touching the arch lip on one side, so ill just tilt the wheels in a little bit... its only just touching... i dont have the privilage of adjustable dampening but never mind. A bit of adaptation here and there and well see what its like tomorrow
