haven't posted on here for a couple of years after I sold my beloved Mk3 Ovni last Feb.
Still miss that car to this day, it was a cracker.
Anyway circumstances change and I've managed to get back on the wagon again and have just picked up a gleaming red Mk4 Cupra 1.8T, with low miles and FSH, in really nice condition.
Drove it back from Andover last night and it put a smile on my face all the way.
Its pretty standard apart from 3 things, HID light conversion, a red painted engine cover and a pipercross cone filter.
Needless to say it makes lots of noises and the constant whooshing is not really to my taste, so I'll be looking to revert this back to OEM airbox and a green panel filter probably, as thats what I had on the mk3 and it was a lot more subtle. If anyone has a standard engine cover going spare I'd be keen to buy as I'm not keen on the bright red one!
Wondering if anyone on here knows the car? Will try and upload a picture later on.
Its RX55 ... and seems to have lived in hampshire/portsmouth for the last few years.
