Hi Guys,
I'm Gary Black and I'm the guy you have seen selling these side repeaters on ebay. I'm glad that I'm finally in a position to supply a set of repeaters to fit these later Seat models straight out of the box, I know for long enough there have been other sellers who will tell you that there lights fit fit all Leons, Ibizas, etc and as some of you have probably found out......they don't due to the differences in the bulb holder fitment in 2003.
I'm sorry if I have caused some confusion over what I have called the various models in my description (mk3, mk4, etc). I got the information for this from Wikipedia and I think there is a "Mk" difference where they class a Mk2 Facelift (99-02) as what you would perhaps call a Mk3. As it says for this - "The 1999
Ibiza Mk2 facelift (Typ 6K2, also known as 6K GP01, and sometimes referred to in the UK as the Mk3) was the second
Ibiza to be produced under Volkswagen Group management" and again as quoted for the Mk3 - "The
Ibiza Mk3 (internal designation Typ 6L, and sometimes incorrectly referred to in the United Kingdom as the Mk4)". I took this to be a reliable source and I figured that as long as I had the model years correctly matched with the example photos for them it would be fairly easy to follow. Have I managed to get this bit correct?
I try very hard to make sure that people don't end up buying something which won't fit their car, it's a pain for the buyer and the seller so I always try to make things as clear as possible and I'm sorry that it seem's a bit confusing. Basically these will fit any Seat Model with the Side Repeaters which have the amber centre ring rather than the chrome centre ring, that's the easiest way to tell if they will fit or not.
Hopefully those of you who have bought a set will be very happy with them, they are a direct replacement so easy to to fit, they are e-marked and are fully road legal. I fitted a set to a car the other day myself and they certainly seemed to be plenty bright enough to me, the fact that they are e-marked will mean that they have been tested in this area for road legality anyway so you won't have any worries on that front. I should be able to list a small amount more of these by the end of the week and after that I will be having some more made with a view to selling more of these in around a months time, although I will have a larger quantity in stock by then so I should be able to keep up with the demand.
I hope this has helped answer some of your worries about these, if you have any questions about them at all please just let me know and I'll be happy to
help.
