I know it’s not a Seat, but suppose it’s part of the family.
New Tamiya Audi Quattro kit finally finished. Had it a few months but not much time so been doing a bit every week.
Its supposed to be rally livery but love red Quattro’s and a big fan of Ashes to Ashes
(And keeley Hawes) Lol so there was only one colour this was gonna be.

Good work! How long did that take lol
About 4 hours in total to build the chassis and electrics and lost count how many hours I spent on the body. Lol
Changed the wheels, the mirrors, ordered Audi transfers for the doors that are really meant to be tacky looking stickers that go on door handles but are the perfect size for the door bottoms. Also the correct number plates.
The biggest job was cutting the black window surrounds off the rally decals. Took ages. And some serious masking.

Yeah I use that thin Tamiya tape that comes on a dispenser for the tricky bits. Just the big areas used normal masking tape.
They are good kits the Tamiya ones. You can upgrade suspension, bearings, motors, all sorts but as I only fly round car parks with them I don’t bother.

Which chassis is it on? TT-02?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah TT02. I already have a tt01 from about 2003 but my lad uses that most of the time so treated myself.
You can adjust the chassis settings on the tt02 whilst building it, fortunately the two bodies I have for it use the same set up.
Have a Lancia integrale shell waiting to be trimmed and painted.

Anyone who’s tried doing the stickers on a Tamiya rally car will understand, it’s not easy! Lol
