All done... Took ten mins lol...

Getting it in the vent with all the brass connectors wasn't going to happen... So used the connector for back of gauge and a bit of nylon tube to push into silicone piping then sealed with tie wraps.

The T piece in engine bay already has restrictor in it so thought would be fine - it is... :D

Gauge looks so much better - very high quality!

Well pleased... Idles at 0.6 BAR btw

So replacement gauge turned up and I just fitted at lunch. Same thing. I used the fish tank hose to replace my 3mm hosing to see if that could have made any difference, and no. Not a thing.

So, will order a restrictor. May have a spare boost gauge soon :D

Very impressed with the new gauge... It seems to be damped well as it is very smooth... Not bouncing round like the auto gauge was... It's also a perfect match at night with the dashboard.

Yeah i do personally.
This is the restrictor (inline) they do a T-piece one too.

Yesterday tried to order that, then they wanted to charge me £50 to delivery it...it was then I realised it was merely a link to shwo me what to go for :)

So I ordered one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221151191...l?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=221151191210&_rdc=1

Turned up today, problem solved :)
Now I want to investigate further, WHY did the gauge rattle, and what was making it do it, and how has this solved it?! :D Off to Google!

THANKS Lee!!

Yeah similar... but those ones look a bit 'heavy' on the eye TBH... ;)

I'll go take a pic of mine once I've got the old bint back together, they're pretty sweet tbh :) especially as the lit up needle reflects on the inside of the arc like a pointer.

worst bit of it is making sure you plug the dash back in properly, if the plug on the back of the clocks isn't in right the immobiliser keeps kicking in after a few seconds lol
