Northants.
I have a 2012 Altea 1.2 (CBZB) petrol.

The exhaust is a bit ratty and will need to be replaced soon.

I have acquired a NEW genuine system from a TDi (AZV, BKD, BMM) - differences being 5mm greater pipe diameter at 55mmØ, twin tailpipes and omission of the middle silencer.

Wondering what issues I'd have if I fitted the TDi system - can source diameter diameter-adjusting clamp, but thinking about potential loss of performance, economy or and/or back pressure?

Guidance appreciated.

I doubt it'd have any noticeable impact on the running of the engine, maybe a slight increase in noise level.

It's missing the small rusty can shown here.

A little more noise isn't an issue, but I do care about affecting torque/performance.

It's only a resonator, won't do any harm without it.
