Flames, Issues and Automobiles

Hi all,

Ihave my ADL in my mk3 now, just a few issues still remain,

Firstly im stuck with the normal idle issue caused by the ISV etc.

Secondly when i accelerate every now and again i get little to no power and i can hear the engine sucking shed loads of air in and thats all so im assuming that its not sparking cause when i let off then touch of throttle im getting an almighty KADLAM and flames out the exhaust about 2-3 feet long, its like driving my old Polo Gt when it had bike carbs,

Its just had new plugs, leads, dizzy and rotor. Wondering could this be coil related or something else?

Firstly i thought it could be no fuel pressure but then it will sort its life out and drive spot on.

Any help appreciated.

sounds like fuel getting through now and sparks causing issues

will get there in the end

Well it all runs ok now, even have a fan when it gets hot .

So it drives ok now just those few problems,

O and i have

NO speedo
NO temp gauge
NO heaters or anything

And my fuel gauge drops to zero when you put your foot down

ha ha

O question,

Who does re-profiled cams for them?

Cause i know for a fact that this motor has cams and has had extensive head work, im just trying to find out what cams they are!
