Flutter/Chatter after DV Cold Side Relocation for 'LC' **HELP**

Hello all, I need some help/advise, I have a LC 1.8T AUQ engine, I relocated my DV and all of a sudden the sound has changed to a really LOUD flutter/chatter

I've ran the following tests (if you can call them that)

Removed the air filter and it still makes that sound

Removed the hose going to the TIP and still makes that sound

I took it all apart and put it back together again, and still makes that sound


I'm a bit concerned as I've been told that these engines are not suppose to make this sound, can any one advise me as to what to check next? the next thing for me to try is to remove the DV relocation and put it back to the normal location, but surely there must be a reason for this noise? a lot of people have done this mod but have not had flutter, just a wee increase in DV noise.


My engine Spec:

Forge 007p with YELLOW spring

TIP

A'pexi Power Intake cone filter

3" down-pipe

2.5" de-cat

2.5" straight through exhaust

All your help would be appreciated, I'm scared the turbo will go pop, yes I've heard this flutter/chatter sound so many times on other car's, but never on a VAG 1.8T engine.

cheers mate, I saw that one, but one thing confuses me, on the forge site, the way the DV is fitted, looks like it's in reverse? or am I getting confused?

im sure i remember someone recently doing a DIY DV relocation and posting up pics of a LC/LCR?!

here you go, it's not a very pretty sight

I've now put mine back to standard with the hose that goes across the block now going to the boost pipe

where is the pipe going to on yours? the charge pipe or the TIP?

That was me on a lcr , they only do the flexi hose in meter lengths which is crap if it was longer you could route it different

Ok so i've put everything back together now and OMG! it sounds like really LOUD turbo chatter?!!! wtf?! i've checked everything, i know these cars are not suppose to sound like that!!???

Vac line not on top of dv ?

I've double checked everything, vac line on....... 2 jubilee clips not on around the DV itself but tight enough to be secure, still shouldn't make this sound right?

Yes mate, that's be blocked off with a hose and metal bung
