its a good bit of kit tbh and my logs in my thread proof it..even running k03s and stage 2...

But il be running a gt2x on it so only time will tell tbh...If anyone ever does the uni fmic mod then id defo recommend upgrading the rest of the pipe work ect it really does help it out...

what do you mean by "rest of the pipework?"

Dannys got my old pipework, hes replaced all the standard pipes with silicone pipes from the intercooler to the turbo, hes also got rid of the standard plastic MAP sensor pipe for the Forge metal one. Made a difference on mine and i was running the Laguna intercooler

Why was that then?

pipework don't fit for one, also needs different brackets fabricated to hang it off the crash bar. its more hassle than a uni one thats for sure

however forge kit gets my vote...got mine 2 years ago and been happy with it since...nearly 1k??? get real it was just over half and i didnt have to mutilate my bumper one bit

not only that but i agree calling some people who get uni ones as 'cheap'. its no good wacking just a great big, grotty intercooler on and saying its fabtastic without replacing the pipe work. the plastic pipe that goes under the sub frame is probably just as much a bottleneck as the stock core. so cheap or thick

been told i can get it the same (£600), but I guess that you got it same way as a might be. Through a mate you know who works at a garage ;)

£600 is still a lot

uhhh nope lol i just asked if i could get one at an old GB price (long after the GB) and the good fellas sorted me out, and i picked it up as i dont live to far away

i agree it is alot but you get what you pay for

even doing it on your own back with a universal its gonna set you back around £200 all in for a decent job

this topic has been discussed so many times before i'm surprised you posted matt...shame on you lol

Forge all the way

after running it on my stg3 Ibiza, fantastic piece of kit, you get what you pay for, and nothing but quality when purchasing Forge kit
