hello, ive found a universal front mount intercooler for £100 stating its for vw/audi and seat and good for upto 370bhp......was just wondering what would make it worth while paying the extra £600ish more for the forge one other than the quality. cheers

i had a fiesta rs a while ago and had one of these cheap jap universal rear boxes, i was wondering if i could use one of these on my LC? has anyone every fitted one? im after a really cheap back box for a good sound :). (saving for the milltek! cheers guys!

hey just a quick thread to see how all the universal intercooler build from about 6 months ago were getting on? i am still not started mine due to other problems requiring attention :( has anyone had any problems with them or are they lasting ?

hey guys, after realising my back end wasnt spaced so well i decided to pop down to my local maccess and get some spacers. me with no newly found 10mm spacers wasnt very happy, so reading through some threads found that people use 20mm. now my question is, are the H&R hubcentric spacers...

Is there a downside to a universal air filter (i.e. green cotton for example). I saw one at halfords for £30 but its universal. So i'm thinking, greens a good brand, if the diameter for the maf is right, whats the problem? and if there isnt one... why do people spend so much more on a 'specific'...

I've tried searching before people tell me:p Ive got a KO3s and Laguna fmic. Just wondering whats the definate differences and is there a better one out of the two, anybody tested or proved this? Thanks

anyone knoe the core size of the forge front mount, the reason i ask is i will be doing a custom set up like a few other guys but you the custom ones ive seen are massive but want to know if this one is same size ish to the forge...

Pipes and sensors! won a new cone of ebay quite a big one too! it was only a pound! brand new more or less, but question if what do i do with all these pipes, esp the one that goes into the top of the airbox, its about 30mm or so thick..... thanks!

I have seen alot of performance filters which state that they are universal, does anyone know how true this is, by that i mean does it realy matter what you bolt on to your car?they are all alot cheaper than the dedicated type, but then they dont have the name, ie pipercross or K&N and so on, so...

hey , just finished building up my induction kit, really knackering in this heat i must say! i really liked the look of jabba's kit but as i couldn't aford it i decided to go a bit DIY lol. it cost me just under £100, that included: JR cone filter and breather, 70mm aluminium pipe, 50cmx50cm...

im looking to get a universal induction kit from the likes of jetex or green as induction kits made specific are a rip off imo. has anyone actually fitted a universal kit to there 1.8T and were there any problems? i know the maf is sensitive, but i can't be spending £100+ when you can pick up...
