My leon didnt have fog lights as standard, but when i put my bumpers on they have got the fogs in them.

Does anyone know if the wiring loom for the fogs is on the car hidden away or will i have to get them?

I know i will have to get the switch but thats nothing to worry about yet

any ideas ppl

why so desperate to hook em up?

you could just wire a switchable live to the lights with a relay into the drivers side compartment, following where the boost gauge guide goes it wouldnt take very long.

im not desperate iv had the bumpers on there nearly a year, just thought with the nice weather it gives me summat to do.

I want to do it the OEM way preferbly but if i cant get the wiring loom it will have to been done the other way.

no point imo, the loom will be a pain in the arse to fit. whereas buying the switch and whacking a few wires in is eassssyyy

and i bet the loom bits are like £40 a piece.

whereas a fivers worth of wire will sort it.

When I phoned the Main dealer about this, they said that the loom isn't available separately, only as part of the Fog Light Kit (Loom, Lamps, Switches, Relays)

Seems crazy, and I still don't believe it, quoted £105 when I asked (last year)

You could try and fine one thats being broken for the loom and bits if you wanted to go OEM, but avoid dealer prices. Otherwise try Sere for the bits, he is cheaper.
Failing that wire it in as above

theres a scrappy in llantrisant/pontyclun, (by royal mint ) i done this with my old car , ford wanted a good few hundred quid for the full loom , all i needed was the end connectors for the Zetec-s fogs as my model had different shaped ones cast a few quid
