For those on lease likely to exceed mileage allowance

I have a leased cupra with a 10k yearly mileage allowance. Due to a change in circumstances I am significantly exceeding this. Got a quote for mileage adjustment which I am taking up. With £60 admin fee factored in this is costing approx 3.6 pence per mile inc. vat, so exactly half the cost of waiting till the end of the contract and paying excess mileage.

Thought that may be useful info for some.

You have to be at least 6 months into contract and not less than 6 remaining to get a quote.

I'm so glad you asked this question as I was going to ask the same today too! I'll probably go 2-3K over PA (I think) so it'll be a good saving. Going 5k over works out at ~£360 so halving that will go towards the tyres I need to buy soon!!!

Use 0330 100 8914 - goes through to audi / vw financial services.

If you use the mileage adjustment form on the seat financial services website it goes into the ether - at least mine did.

p.s. I was going about 12,000 over the allowance over the contract so this is a significant saving for me.
