Forced air induction kit - a little help?

Hi

I was thinking of getting some sort of induction kit, perhaps just for the noise, but maybe a little performance boost too.

What are the different types, how much do they cost, and which makes are the best?

I was looking at:

most people have the typical CAI (cold air induction kit). Theres plenty of threads on this, try searching.

A lot of people go for K&N but there is various different routes what version of the leon are you running?

In truth the power gains you're going to see from your 1.6 engine are going to be minimal, but for noise gains then pretty much any induction kit will give a good roar. Just a case of what budget you're on.

AH right I've just clicked, so just a cone filter vs. a whole induction kit is just going to dent my wallet more and not see much more performance gains.

That's just my opinion, many people have different opinions of the induction kits and i have very little knowledge about the 1.6. But would assume that obviously the effects are going to be less and less the smaller the engine size.
