was just thinkin the same asked about runing the dv the other waya while ago dint think it matted which way tho?

nope, forge say u can run it both ways

surely the filter just gives a louder grunt from the engine?

the air dumped from the dumpvalve goes into the main air intake so with a open cone u can hear it.

i have tried both ways m8. im using a relocation kit aswell. both ways boost the same, but in reverse you get a little bit more noise. so any way mine is staying in reverse. if i were u id try it, only takes 2 mins to do. hope this helps

go for a jetex filter m8, they are cheap and amazing

i no its there colour jetex(blue) but it does look outer place in a red,and black bay like mine thats why i ant got 1

Bit cheaper, means you have to put up with the awesome logo but it's hidden enough in the engine bay anyway..
