Forge splitter split-r dump valve

Im thinking of getting a forge spliter dump valve ive read a few earlyer post's but there a bit older is there any new advice about getting 1? i dont want the big woosh but the recircilation sound can i get that with it? also the main thing wat can go wrong?

The split-R is not very loud on un-mapped cars.
An open cone filter or a remap will make it a bit louder but it will never be as loud as a Cossie or EVO D/V.

If it's not set up right it can cause turbo lag and even limp mode.

My one has been fine although I am now running it in full recirc mode and it fells less laggy.
Most people will tell you to stick to the Forge 007,

yup. K/N open cone + 007P. Ull never look back. Also remove your hood lining.

Ive just sent my split r back and gone for the the 007p, mine was faulty though!

Yeah, we sell both and prefer the 007P to the Splitter any day.

I'd agree with the others here... 007P. Didn't like the split-r and my cupra didn't like it much either!
