one other thing i would like to add.
I know you've done a great job already, and spent a lot of time gettin it right/perfect, but I was thinking that when starting a new topic, maybe the "tag" field should be directly beneath the "thread title" field instead of beneath the "body" field.
Thought it would encourage the use of it more. I know that's where CarChops place theirs and it gets used a hell of a lot.
Just a thought.

It's the dark green-ish (Holiday Inn?) horizontal bars I can't stand. The top colours goes away when I scroll, so that's ok I guess.
I liked the anonymous look SCN had before. This is very NSFW. Too eye catching.
To say something positive: I LOVE the "new posts" button. I've really missed that. Couldn't stand going via a menu.

Looks brilliant and seems so much quicker too, always a plus for skiving at work to find out some information
