Re: FR,Cupra,Boga partnumbers and MK5 Wheels

Hi,
Did you have any bother fitting the dump valve spacer? I tried to fit one to my FR Tsi but it made the plug of the dump valve so close to the oil breather pipe at the top of the timing case that i couldn't physically get the plug back on so i had to abort the job. Any ideas?

Just a case of a little bit of fiddling and turning the clip around.

re: wheels

sorry guys but i have tried and tried to get my head around offsets and its never gonna happen

as above: ET45 (ish) for a 7 width wheel, if i get aftermarket 8width wheels (18") they will be wider and thus need a different offset??? they are 8x18 ET35 - i just dont know!!! :(

Would it be worth having a list of the consumables needed for a service? Oil, air, polen filter etc for the different engines.
I know not all people will be doing there own service on a 1-2 year old car but as they get older people start self servicing.
