around town i used to get 30-35 mpg

on a long trip 50 if your carfull

Averaged 50.4mpg on the way in today, used the cruise control at 70mph a lot mind you.

That was over 35miles of M42/M6, & it was quite free flowing, doubt I'll get it next week when every ones at work again clogging it up

20 miles of slow, fast, slow then a blast down country roads between notts and derbyshire

Only thing I found on the MFD was for Snow Tyres was adding a speed warning due to the lower speed rating - I'll have another look though if you think theres something else.

It's there only to warn Germans not to blow up their tyres on Autobahn with excessive speed

Current milage is 6700+/-

I'm currently getting about 42 from mine (FR 170), but it's only done 3000 miles so far... I was expecting 50+ TBH!!! I was getting (stated) 62-64 regularly on my Octavia TDi140 but with the Leon - 18's, DPF and the harder suspension I expected it to drop a little. I'll keep you posted I do around 4000 miles a month...

I am getting between 43-45 mpg going to work, but only 40-42 mpg on the return trip..... I had been hoping for approx 44 mpg, car only done 1000 miles, hopefully will improve as the mileage increases..

Best I have had is 45 on a straight run down the M6/M5/A38 from Manchester to Devon. I don't expect the 50+ even though it's a diesel as the engine is thirsty. Those wanting better would probably be better off with the 140 by the sounds of things...

Me? I came from a Petrol focus getting 37mpg on a run and 27mpg around town. My economy is far improved with massive performance improvement. Suits me
