Regards to checking for boost leak, Check your pipes to the intercooler and see if they are loose or not and if they are covered in oil at the joints. Easy fix that is about £5

Best way is to get under the car and remove engine tray and its the pipe each side of the intercooler.
I have noticed i can now here hear my turbo sounds like a police car lol you can here it from inside the car is that normal or do i need a turbo
If its a PD170 then they all have a whistle/police siren like noise.
If its just making an owl like nosie I wouldn't worry to much my slef my pd160 Cupra does it really loud and its been fine like that for 8000k with no problums and to behoest I quite like its sound lol.
Some time turbos do make a nosie like that as long as u ain't losing oil your not smoking more than normal and u havnt lost any power don't worry about a thing till the day it does go pop
