From bad to worse: Hairline Crack in Head

Can you. how like? remove the sprocket?

Yup theres a torq bolt on the end of the sprocket.
I tried to slacken this but ended up turning the whole bottom end and got scared.
According to ELSAWIN this is how you change the pump but I bottled it.

Mines just rounded off, how the hell do you remove it :| not taaking the end plate off

Sounds like a job for a cold chisel or weld a nut onto it and back it off with a socket

Hmm, is it really worth it as the pump looks clean from where the strainer is mounted, filter bracket is next off, i read on vag cat there self locking.

Not rang yet mate, a few problems have cropped up with the phone service provider saying i havent paid the bill i hope its not sold.

impact gun, good fitting socket is what I use (so far 100%)
