H&R (as well as Eibacj) do a kit for the Cupra, front and rear ARB's as a pair is this not an easier solution?

Thought the R32 may not fit the Cupra as R32 has the same fitment for the front as an S3, TT, LCR which is why I couldn't buy pairs of ARB's for the LCR. Think there are different carriers / clamps on the front damper unit.

H&R do do the kit - I've been talking to BBT about these but they say they are hard to come by. £250+vat is the kit price, but then I have to get it all fitted too.

I assume that the H&R kit would be designed for lowered cars??? Ie, I don't want to buy the kit and then still need drop links as well...

(the s3) i think they are one and the same(don't quote me though)

Would it not be as lcr? ie 19mm instead of 22 for r32? (prob not as front arb reduced due to seat agile chassis cobblers)

According to previous post r32 arb is £85ish http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=63003&highlight=arb

Not a job i'd like to do again, and i used proper ramps. Awesome managed to do it without dropping front subframe on rudds tho which may reduce the labour time.

I never realised they were as straight as they are.

I'll have a look tomorrow, but I bet they're a doddle to fit.

everywhere i look people say subframe needs to be dropped. However, if its not the case I'd like to see how its done without dropping it - would save a lot of hassle.

Going to research into the H&R kit, as I want to make sure it has the larger loops etc so that I don't get the knocking once fitted.

venom do adjustable drop links @ £55 (+vat?) which, TBH, is almost as much as an FK ARB....

Question for those who know - if I put on an H&R/Neuspeed/whatever ARB kit, do I still need droplinks?

Reason I ask is that the Neuspeed arb's seem to come supplied with the drop links. Do the H&R ones come with drop links as well?

Also, drop links on a 52 plate cupra - are these going to be the plastic or metal ones?

I think the H&R kit for the leon is 22mm front, and 22/25 at the rear....

30mins does seem rather good, do you know how they did it so quickly? Obviously didnt drop the subframe.....

I'll have to check that the H&R setup comes with them then - especially at the front.
I'd think that the front drop links are quite important, and wouldnt want to put uprated arb AND be lowered on std plastic jobbies....

Been reading so much its hurting me now! lol

I didn't see the front ARB before it was fitted to my car so I have less idea than the rest of the suspension which I watched as it was changed.

loosen & lower the subframe a bit, Did it all summer once fitting Ibiza ARB's - which are all kinky.

I have a leon 'on loan' to fit a lambda probe to tomorrow, so I'll take a look & get some pics, but looking at diagrams, it's a walk in the park
