Front grill options - Altea

Recently a crow took fancy to my standard SEAT badge on my front grill, unfortunately for the bird I was doing 120 at the time. Needless to say the bird came off worse, however said bird was successful in his kamikaze attempt to de-badge my altea. This leaves me with a gaping hole on the front. So im looking to replace the front grill.

What do people think of the BTCC solid one from the leon ? does anywhere stock it, should I go badge-less? Plenty of badge-less or standard grills on ebay.

My vote is keep the badge. To me de-badging looks like embarrassment.

I like the idea of the solid grill like the BTCC Cupra. .

yeah badged looks right, now for my search for the solid grill.

yeah on the Altea the standard one looks better, you could always grab the Honeycomb grille accessory for the back of it.

Agree with the badged grille. Seen the honeycomb grille and looks good, considering it myself.

I agree... plain grille is just boring ....

Well you might think so. one of my work colleagues had a stone go through the normal grille into the raidiator. that cost more to fix than an 18 quid honeycomb grille that could have protected that incident.

You could Try Black Mesh or silver, whatever works for yourself if you dont want the honeycomb grille.

I've got the Centre Grille from a Mk2 Leon Cupra (Black instead of Chrome) and the black honeycomb behind that

It's all available from David @ Seremotors for about £50 delivered (if he's got any left in stock...... )

im thinking of going for a de-badged grille completly in black and put an FR badge in the bottom corner, i've got a black car so think it will look good, seen one on fleabay for £30 which sounds reasonable
