Having a problem with my front drivers side indicator bulb , I removed the bulb to see if they were orange or just behind an orange lense thinking that i would replace with some silver ones to get rid of the orange glow when they were off .
Anyway all went well managed to get the bulb out checked it it was orange so i put it back in and now it wont work have checked the bulb and its fine just wont work .
Has anyone else had a problem with them it seems to be locating ok and locks in just wont light up :(
Any ideas

I've having a similar prob with my reverse light.. I dropped the holder and bulbs and though the bulb was just knackered but if i swap the holder onto the fog light the bulb works ok as a fog. If i use the fog light holder and bulb on the reverse side it doesnt work. So the problem is from the wiring (still need to check the fuse).

What you have to watch out for though is that the car seems to kill power to lights if it detects a fault.. For example i put my fog light on and disconnected the holder from the harness then reconnected it and it didn't work again until i switched the ignition off and on again as though it had to reset itself. Makes for very complicated diagnosis.

Do you get a light fault indicator on your dash? I have
It seems to detect a fault even though the lights aren't on which is quite cool.

Hi there matey took it to the dealers yesterday seems the contacts in the light unit itself have come adrift the holder was realy stiff when we tried to remove it so must have pulled them off .
They did say it was the first leon they had seen that had done this though they have had quite a few alhambras that have done the same thing which apparently use the same bulb holder as the leon so they are expecting a few more to do the same now.
anyway they couldnt fix it so getting new headlight under warranty just got to wait 5 days for one to come in which is a pain
Light fault indicator is on all the time it is quite clever isnt it
