New to the site i have just been and left a post in the introduction section too but will also use this opportunity to say "hello"

I have searched prior to posting but currently I cant find what I'm looking for.

I have Leon cupra PD150, 53 plate and I'm changing the front discs of which will be 288, either Pagid OR Bosch but its the pads im a little stuck on.

what would you recommend as looking at images some are bigger than others,

Height for example would it be 54mm OR 74mm?

Thanks in advance

I thought the cupras were all 312mm, maybe its just the petrol that is. Either way the pads are the same from what i understand...

The diesels have smaller brakes 232 on the back and 288 on the front. Stick your reg in eurocarparts or gsf and it should show all compatible pads and their sizes.

Thanks socketpuppet,

Well searching eurocarparts by Reg is what threw me as it brings up all sizes, the car is sat on 250's which are warped, provided by eurocarparts prior to me buying the car, been going threw the receipts.

Thanks for the advise at the rear as that's next.

I have had PAGIDS, MTEC and BREMBO.

The pagids suffered from brake fade, but do a reasonable job. The MTEC were great value and worked out cheaper than the pagids. They worked really well, with much less brake fade than the pagids, but only lasted about 40000 as they were drilled and grooved and the drilled holes started to crack and made one of the disks warp slightly.
The brembos have grooved disks and are pretty good so far, but a little more expensive than the MTEC and pagids.

Performanceraceparts for brembo, MTEC for MTEC both on ebay. You can input your car and it will show you compatible parts.
