I am about to have a second go at replacing a front parking sensor on my 2021 Cupra Leon (pre facelift) after stone chipping one of the sensors.

I've noticed on this forum that most write ups are related to the new facelift models, but has anyone successfully removed a front parking sensor on the pre-facelift model?

I tried a week ago and tried to push the clip off the grill (as in pull sensor away from grille) but apparently it needs to be pushed through the grill.

Thanks in advance.

I did yes. It's a little bit fiddly but all works now.

If you try to change it, there are two clips top and bottom. If you try spreading the clips one at a time whilst pushing on the sensor it'll start to move and I used a bit of force to pop it out the other side.

Once you've done that its fairly straight forward to actually replace the sensor.

The following video helped a bit.
