I have the clean parking sensor on the front of my Leon xcellence lux estate/ST. I have cleaned without success, tried the wd40. It has a line right at the sensor and coincides with a sensor that visibly looks stone damaged, so unlikely to be covered by he warranty.

It’s the nearside (uk) near the number plate. I have read of this costing a few hundred £’s even though singular part can be got for <£40. Is there any easy way to swap this out as a diy job, or is it remove the full bumper job (don’t really fancy this option)?

Any assistance appreciated.

*BUMP* I also have the same problem.
Seat Leon Evo SE parking sensors show triangle with exclamation mark. After alot of searching and WD40 I have worked out it's the front sensor on the black plastic grill has a small chip. Is there anyway of changing this sensor without taking the bumper off ? Does anybody have instructions? Also is it possible to put a cover on/over the sensors to stop it happening again ?

I put a reply in this thread as I sorted mine

Thank you so so much for taking the time to post this. I will give this a go.
Do you have any extra tips ?

Pressing the top clip as I posted makes life easier. Anything else is making sure you don’t drop sensor inside the bumper, so leave cable attached as much as possible.
