the fuel cap door has never worked sincei had it tho. There is a button inside but it doesnt do anything from what i can see.

been to seat dealer who said it was solanoid, but he never looked at the car to diagnose problem. could this be the problem and how easy to change it when bought??

If the fuel car switch lights up when ignition on then switch is ok. If this is the case then yes would prob say solenoid for the fuel cap has broke. They're common faults on early leons. Mine has broke too. Easy fix, strip out inside of boot and solenoid is there. About 5 quid from scrappy
