Fuel cap in my seat ibiza 6j not locking any more is there a way to fix it?

Hello my seat ibiza mk5 6j 2011 not locking any more, when inserting the key it turns inside the fuel cap but nothing happens the fuel cap not locking i think the mechanism has a problem deos any one know if it can be repaired or a how to guid to open it thanks in advance

Have you fixed it ?

I just noticed the same thing on mine.
Turning the key in either direction doesn't lock it.
You get that initial resistance when turning counter clockwise feels like it's locked and then you can turn it loose.

Same here for years now... Don't plan to fix it unless someone starts stealing me lol
