I have a 1.4 100 FS and I am getting an average of 45 to the gallon on country road driving and about 47 on the motorways. This gives me about 425 miles on a tank.

i got about 280 miles to a full tank after a very boring 2 weeks of carfull driving, i made it last as gruling as it was, thats was with my induction kit on, and i used redex.

Not proud, but ive manage only 200 miles out of a tank in my 1.2 :(

That was on my trip to london, and was in a rush a bit. Not revving high... until i got to 5th

Usually manage about 290 out of a tank though

These mileages seem oddly low - do the Ibiza's still have the 10 gallon fuel tank?

I get 40MPG for a-road + m/way driving (85/h) - 400 miles to the tank. If I only do a-road driving then that does up to 44mpg. If I bleed the air and really fill it up I can easily get 480 miles to the tank.

That's with the 5-door 1.2 BTW.

Above 85 fuel consumption drops massively.

I usually get 350 miles out of my tank on my 1.2, did vent it as much as I could one time though when I had to drive to exeter and managed to just hit the 500 miles mark.

is tht a 3 cylinder?

just adding my 3 pence worth, got a 1.2 12v ibiza sport rider as a courtesy for the past week quite impressed with the economy, cost me £15 for the week in petrol, (around 12 litres) and it has lasted me untill friday and i do rougly 25 miles per day. 120 Miles on £15, not too bad. The only trouble is, at 99mph ;) you can watch the petrol disapear :)

Well i got both, i have my cake and eat it

mixupz, I was just browsing the thread with the photos of your induction kit. How much more performance do you see from that mod? Do you get any more torque out of it at around 3000 rpm? Had it tested on a rolling road?

Definately more pull in the 2nd/3rd between 3k & 4k compared to the K&N... Sounds a lot better too...i was RR pre-modification (before i bought it) and i had something like 66.3 or something. ill be getting it RR'd on the 13th so ill get the figures then...

But the main thing to be looking for speed/power from a 1.2 is having 14's on rather than 17's...easier on the whole car really weight wise..

ettlz leave a comment on my Readers ride thread ;)
