Fuel Gage

Hey Lads,

Just got an R reg Ibiza and the fuel gage is constantly on full once you turn the car on, the fuel light works but the gage doesn't.

Any ideas?

Hi, I get this intermittently with mine if I fill the tank right to the brim. I guess the float gets stuck in the top position. I free mine with a bit of 'spirited driving' once the tank has emptied a bit. See piccie in signature for an example of some 'spirited driving'....

But the fuel light still comes on, is this because there is a seperate sensor?

Not sure - mine doesn't have a low tank warning light.
