My guage always reads too high - i was on fumes and it was showing 1/4 tank left. The dealer has played before and has replaced the sender but it still shows the same. Does anybody know if anything can be calibrated with VAGCOM?
Hi Dave - I have the same problem - if you don't mind me asking how much did the dealer charge to replace the fuel sender? is it an tank out job? did you get it rectified in the end?
I heard this was a common thing with Ibiza's?
My trip computer will show 0miles fuel left yet the gauge shows just under 1/4 tank. I think (but am likely wrong) you have 7litres left when it beeps.
