Full Milltek or Re-map and part Milltek

I am thinking of taking my car to AMD after 2 years and finally getting some mods done. I want upgarde to a forge 007p and air filter but don't have the funds for a full Milltek exhaust and a stage 1 re-map. So was think of getting a re-map and the back box only. Any advice as to what you would go for?

Cupra 180 mods - Option 1 or 2 or advice?

Thanks for your help, want to get the right things done for the money I have. Already upgraded the star fish 17" to 18" RS4's and have now nagged the wife to let me have £1000 of my hard earned savings.

Option 1.
FORGE PISTON CLOSED LOOP DIVERTOR VALVE - £107.57 fitted
PIPERCOSS PERFORMANCE PANEL FILTER - £34.94 - would upgrade to induction if exhaust fitting is free
Milltek Sport: CAT-BACK {NON-RESONATED - £379.20 fitted - could be free fitting
AmD: AMD TECHNIK ROLLING ROAD REMAP - extra 30bhp - £408.97

Total - £930.68

Option 2.
FORGE PISTON CLOSED LOOP DIVERTOR VALVE - £107.57 fitted
PIPERCOSS PERFORMANCE PANEL FILTER - £34.94
Milltek Sport: TURBO-BACK INCLUDING HI-FLOW SPORTS CAT - £993.42 fitted

Total - £1135.93

i think it depends if your wife will allow you to access funds in the near/not too far future.

Imo I would opt for option 2 but that would be with a view to getting a remap done at a later date. If all you are going to spend on the car is £1000 and that is for all the mods at the top limit i would go for otion 1 but with that said i would probably try and source some parts (exhaust) second hand and save yourself a bundle to get all of the available mods.

Option 3 is sourcing second hand good quality parts and saving some money this is generally what i do as i have a shoe string budget as i am a student. :)

Like said previously it depends how far your looking at going with the mods some things aren't worth it if your going to go all the way like the remap seems pretty pointless when you could put that money towards a front mount intercooler or full exhaust system. I've gone pretty much all the way with my car next step would be a hybrid or a big turbo and it's taken me say 3 years to do it and I really enjoyed taking my time, fitting new mods enjoying them then when I get the modding bug again I do something else :)

Got car booked in for Milltek, 007p, Pipercross filter and Stage 2 remap, can't wait. Just purchased badgles grill, rear wiper conversion and connect 2 as I prefer the original stereo to the aftermarket one I fitted.

I would get a vortex and then remap it, it might be more expensive but there is a lot more gain in bhp with a vortex then any other exhaust

Sorry again, but why do they fit that restrictive exhaust as standard? Surely it would be better just to put a bigger downpipe (?) on in the first place?
