Fuse layout

Hello everyone. I've had my cupra r in the garage for a year while I went travelling. Got it back out yesterday and the radio doesn't even turn on and the trip computer isn't working either. I'm thinking it's probably the fuses but I don't know the layout. If anyone one could help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks people, I tried changing the fuses over for the radio and it still wouldn't turn on. Suppose i'll have to take to an audio place. Thanks for the help though.

i can see that thr description is pretty vauge on some of the listings.

Does anyone have a more elaberate diagram of what is connected to each fuse.

Namely, fuses. 37, 34, 43 and 29.

Much appreciated!

No. Even the Elsawin diagrams do not tree down from each fuse. In some respects the Haynes diagrams are better for this, but they are for Golfs, and the wiring colours are all different, as are many of the connections.

You missed out no.s 10 and 32 in your round-up of ECU fuses.

Not all of these ECU fuses is present in every car. There will be one or two present, different for each car, depending on the type of ECU installed.

Does the alarm have a fuse guys? If so which one is it? My redlight on top of my door is not blinking anymore which makes me believe alarm does not arm when I use the fob to lock doors or with keys and am trying to find out why. Am in 53 LCR by the way. Thanks for help in advance.

There is a fuse for the alarm, in fact two are shown on the wiring diagrams, both on the relay plate, so well out of sight and hard to get to.

I suspect that they are in fact "thermal regeneration fuses", a kind of small circuit breaker, so should never need attention. However at least one poster has found that they can break - but his was for the electric seats. In his case the moving part inside had broken, rendering the item useless. He traced the problem by swapping it with the electric window fuse.

For test purposes an ordinary car fuse should fit the fuseholder. Fuses 144 and 111, both listed as position F on the relay plate, above the relays and third along out of four. Never actually looked at them myself, so let us know what you find.

Out of interest where is the relay plate you mention located?

Hi, there doesn't seem to be a fuse for the petrol cap?

My petrol cap won't open so I'm looking for the fuse for that, is it under the steering wheel? Cheers.
