as standard the turbo is quiet sedate and smooth, so there isnt a point at which you suddenly get a turbo boost.

Hmm, dunno about that, mine is standard and if I floor it it does seem to kick in a bit once I get to about 2200rpm, then again a bit harder at about 3500rpm. I figured the first kick was the turbo waking up and the second was the engine hitting its' natural power-band.

As for the clutch, yes I found it pretty stiff to start with but I got used to it quickly. My previous car (and first one so no laughing!) was a Fiat Punto, with a very light clutch. Having driven my LCR225 for a couple of weeks now I don't struggle with the clutch as much as I did at first.

Get it round to the red line and hold on tight!

:funk:

do as the man says, no wonder it doesnt feel like you have any boost if your changing gear at 3k rpm its hardly had a chance to boost before you swap cogs.

and you will know when the turbo is on boost as you will feel a significant kick.

no longer a newbie now, love the car!! addicted to boost!!

i want more now! revo remap coming soon! + bigger intercooler coming up :)
