Getting a Leon...

Hey Guys, this is my first post.
Just Letting you all know that i'll be getting a Seat Leon MK1, (1.9 TDI Diesel dark metallic blue), very soon hopefully. Just wondering what mods i should get done to it when i first get it... I don't like the idea of getting too much done, and want to keep it simple. but here's a few things that i'd like to do:

- Colour coded bumpers.
- Cupra Body Kit.
- De-badge Rear end.
- Rebadge rear with "LEON" under the seat badge. (Like the newer models)
- Fabia Rear Wiper (do i get the estate version? or the hatch?)

Is there any front wipers that would match up with the rear one?

So, that's all i can think of at the time, if you have any other ideas for me, nothing over the top really, but all ideas welcome. pictures would really hep too guys.

Hope to be on here a lot more often when i do finally get my car. I'll certainly get pics etc up after i do get it.

Hi, Welcome... enjoy a very good purchase...

What version you getting? S, SE, SX, Cupra, FR?

Fabia wiper - You need the estate, I have the hatch, its about an inch too short.

Front wiper - No exact match, the most popular thing to do is, get Golf MK4 wiper arms and aero blades to fit.

Other mods;

- Pannel filter
- Civic type-R/Citroen C2 aerial.
- S3 front upper strut brace
- Rear ARB
- Remap
- Coil overs
- FMIC (Front mouned intercooler)
- Exhaust, full system, down pipe, cat-back, mufflerectomy...

The list is pretty much endless....

Oh, I was also looking for the cupra r body kit as it's really the one big thing i want on my car... the only one i can see is on ebay, from poland. Has anyone got this kit, and what is it like?
Also, if there is anywhere else i could get one, and what price i'd be looking at to spend on buying the kit, getting it fitted and painted etc..

Don't get that polish one, its fibreglass and really brittle. The smallest of bumps or bangs and its cracked.

The OEM (official) Cupra R kit, is extremly rare second hand and will cost you the best part of £1k to source, fit and paint.

Also, that will bump up your insurance.

Hi m8 welcome 4 your mods chck out fallen angel.Ihad a look a while since realy usefull stuff.just search members sec 4 member called fallen angel.How gutted woz i could have had genuine cupra r f/bumper when mine got smashed.but like a idiot when the steeler asked if it was a "R"i said no m8 just cupra

Don't feel too bad, you need quite a few other bits to make an R bumper fit if i remember correctly.

I thought that it only increased you're insurance if you wanted the bodykit covered also...? I may be wrong there...

if you don't delare it, you could void your insurance.
