Glovebox ? Larger insert !

Hi All,

I may be talking from the wrong hole here but did i see on here ages ago that you can buy a glovebox liner/insert that removes the section for the CD changer giving one large area ?

If so where can i get this from and how easy is it to fit ?

no i've got that hole filled with the insert but i was sure someone mentioned that you can get a complete insert that removed the CD changer area, leaving just once big space !

did the A3 have that stupid lump in the glovebox ?

Worth looking into maybe a poverty spec A3 may have decent sized Glovebox

I've heard it's possible to swap in an A3 glovebox but it's a big job to get it all to fit properly and look like it's supposed to be there

I can't see how it'll be too much of a job , as the Leon dash is the same as the A3 one

The gloveboxes come out easy enough and the worst case scenario is if the lid has to be changed ?

But saying that is proberbly something major i've overlooked

you can get a glovebox without a cd changer swelling and tray as it were but pretty rare unless you order it new

early 1.4/1.6 i think came with a kit to install cd changer but then came standard after a while

you want what looks just like a plain old ordinary glovebox
