Hey everyone. New to posting on the forum, I have seen there have been a lot of threads regarding glow plug warning light. Need some advice as seem to be having a different issue.
So its 1.6TDI with 155,000km on, been maintained well. Have had glow plug come on and off over last 6 months and now its pretty much every journey and the engine management light has now joined it.
Had a P0299 code which was then solved with changing the N75 valve. Now I have no codes showing either on a normal OBD reader or by seat garage itself but still have the warning lights and limp mode most of the time. Seat garage has suggested replacing turbo which seems like a very costly option.
From what I understand could try EGR valve or just changing glow plugs but I thought I would get a fault code for those issues. Seems like they are just suggesting trying to swap bits and hoping for the best!
You guys any opinion on what to try first?
