Apologies for digging up an old thread, but I have just put
LED stop/tail bulbs in, and I have the flashing glow-plug light. Is there any way around this, or do I simply have to go back to conventional bulbs?
The lights also don't really work properly, and it seems to depend on whether the ignition is on or off. Symptoms are pretty weird:
- With the tail lights OFF, and the ignition ON or OFF, the brake lights work perfectly.
- With the tail lights ON, and the ignition OFF, things work sort-of okay, although the LED tail lights are too bright which means there's not much difference in brightness when you apply the brakes.
- With the tail lights ON, and the ignition ON, the LED tail lights are at full brightness and there is no difference when the brakes are applied.
These same bulbs work perfectly in my TVR Chimaera*; it's a shame they don't seem to work in the SEAT. Is there any solution, or will I just have to go back to normal bulbs?
* Sorry, I know - worst "I've got a TVR" thread EVER!!
