In an effort to make my Leon a little different to others, I've shamelessly ripped off a very similar design to the lower door striping from a Golf Clubsport. I didn't want anything loud or too "in yer face", so I thought it would look good, which I think it does.

Another great job done for me by Xtreme Signs in Copthorne, West Sussex - highly recommended!

Looks good but if it was may car I’d have asked Xtreme to extend the decal along the bottom of the rear door too. IMHO that’s the way it should have been on the Golf GTI Clubsport.

Just my opinion though and we’re all different and like different things 🙂.

Funnily enough, I had thought the same. It needs just a couple of flashes into the rear door, so I may get that amended at some point.

It's bugged me for a couple of weeks now, so the car's going in next week for a slight extension onto the rear door.

I think that when it’s pointed out (apologies for doing so!), it’s something you probably notice every time you walk up to the car.

Please post up a picture once you’ve had it done.

Edit; the link below to a discussion topic over on golfgtiforum.co.uk shows what the decal extended along the rear door looks like on a Clubsport. On the Golf, the rear door decal follows the door’s lower crease line;

The crease line along the bottom section of the rear door kicks up on the Cupra Leon whereas on the Golf it doesn’t - IMHO following the rear door crease line on your car along the entire rear door might be a bit too much, so a slight extension into the rear door as you’ve suggested would probably look better. Maybe the guys at Xtreme have a computer software package (they probably do) so they can show you different design options on screen so you can choose the one that works best for you?

No problem, it's good to share ideas and opinions - I realised that it should have continued into the rear door immediately after it had been done!

The car goes back to them next week at some point, Xtreme will fit it in between their bigger jobs. I'll post a couple of photos here when done.

Thanks for the Golf forum link, looks good but I won't be going that far, just a couple more 'blocks'
