can someone tell me if this has been done before, or am i just being stupid?
after looking around the forum for a while i have seen that a lot of people change the standard Mk4 Ibiza 1.8T FR front brakes for the bigger ones from an Audi TT, and this got me thinking!
i saw on ebay that you can buy adapters for the TT that allow you to fit the rear brembos off of a Porsche boxster s onto the front and keep the original Audi TT 312mm discs, so in theory could i do this?
1./ Buy a set of these adapter thingys off of ebay,
2./ Buy a set of grooved 312mm Audi TT front brake discs,
3./ Then find from somewhere the rear brake calipers off of a Porsche boxter s
and braided brake lines not sure what kind i would need though, the end fittings aren't just standard fitments are they?
i know that they would just be for the looks (they're red and say Porsche!! ) but they are brembo 4 piston calipers, they would still be a good upgrade wouldn't they?
any opinions or a bit of constructive criticism?
