Due to a discussion in this thread, and ultimately this post I've come up with a little on-line form which (if you want) you can fill in, so that better data can be compiled with regards to how wide spread this problem is.

What do you need to do?
Visit this site and fill in the details.

What will happen once I have filled in the form?
I myself will keep the information and compile this into a spreadsheet/PDF document in a couple of weeks time and pass to SCN to review and pass to their contacts at SEAT UK. I'll make no further communications with yourselves as to the results, and once the process is complete, the data will be deleted.

Great - Does this mean my car will be fixed? :)
NO - Providing information to seat uk is all that is going to be done, no one knows what results we will get, or how seat will handle any information it is given. Nothing at all may be done, or perhaps they'll review the information and provide dealers information to resolve this - who knows! DO NOT THINK THIS IS A MAGICAL SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.

Can you share the URL with other sites ?
Yes, i don't have a problem with that.

Any other issues - please feel free to e-mail or PM me. :)

/mods please feel free to add any other warning/disclaimers that you wish!

All logged, thanks for the help on this!!Want to everyone get their car fixed out of this one!!! resembles a mini-coup to oveethrow the seat machine.lol

It might resemble it, but that's not the idea or the goal. If this is to turn into a rant then I'm not involving myself.

My aim is to inform SEAT of an issue which in the real world is still a small number of the cars they have sold. Hopefully they can investigate it further and come up with a resolution or fix. But this isn't to overthrow anyone.

Totally agree with that, and i'm of exactly the same thoughts, this is just to highlight that there *is* a problem with some (at the moment very few too!) cars.

This isn't a major "every built car" issue, but hopefully gathering of info may get a solution to the issue either by the knowledge shared here/or via a response from seat or the dealers.

Just hope for no response from Seat UK at all, and be surprised if we get something :)

After it rains, or you've washed your car. Wind the window down and back up again.

Now is the INSIDE of the glass wet (as in really wet?) if so - thats wetwindows :)

On the outside, yes ... this does happen, but on the inside??? - Thats got to be wrong!

A few questions.
1. Apart from when it rains, when the car is been washed is the water been forced unnaturally upwards?
2. Has anyone water tested the glass to see if the water is coming up over the top.
3. Has anyone compared a glass runner felt of a car that does leak to one that doesnt to see if the ridge covering the external part of the glass is thicker in anyway??
4. Have the drain holes been checked for obstructions??
5. Before lowering the window has the glass been fully dried on the oustide, then tested when the glass goes down then up again?
