Hi people,
I have heard alot about these "Green Cotton panel filters" I have a FR on the way and wondered how much difference it would make and is it worth getting one?

I'm actually changing to a green cotton panel filter and PD160 air intake this week. I'll report back with what i think!
There is a sticky in this section about the green filters and intakes with a few peoples reviews.

They are a great cheap/first mod. Cost about £30 and can add a tiny bit of power and noise and help other mods you may do in the future.

I purchased a green filter as im servicing the car... no difference from what i can tell. Was going to do a pd160 intake but refuse to pay 65quid + from local dealers.

The filter looks much better quality and is half the thickness of the standard one so must do something :).

bbewekim - give New Southgate Seat a ring about the pd160 intake. I bought mine last week from them for around £35 including the adaptor. They may be able to get it sent to your local dealer if you ask nicely:lol:
