Grinding noise, any suggestions?

Hello people.

Right when the air con is switched on I get a very loud ginding noise, almost like the bearings have worn out on something. The air con still works fine and its booked into SEAT on friday. Ive done a search but didnt find anything. Its still under warranty but only done 30k, could something have gone already?

i belive the air con has a pump thats how you get the aircon so to speak someone maybe along to clarify or rubbish my suggestions lol

Ah compressor/pump I know what you mean I thought this which then led me onto the pulley bearings or something like that about to go.
