£135 is a lot to hope that a design has been improved from a proven flawed design.

Still, pays your money etc. race proven vs customer failled development

Jabba's is fabricated by Pro-Alloy.....

something something, copy, something something

Actually Jabba is making their own sumps in house now...their doing mine. They're not selling the Pro Alloy items anymore.

do they have them in stock or do they make them when you order them. I want one but hate waiting months on end for stuff!

abit of a boring update but im happy its progressing. crappy pics as always

head has the valves/springs and retainers fitted. the re-bore has been done and ive fitted the arp mains studs. i was hoping to build the bottom end the weekend just gone but i had to get my rings gapped which slowed me down.

i also met a very knowledgeable (spelling!?) bloke called JP (Jean-Paul) not sure if hes known in the vag seen much!? he gave me some great info and tips :)

pics below are of the block being painted. it was immaculate before the re-bore but he dipped the block in a acid/cleaner and the paint was really dull, so i sprused it up a little

hooch how do you know what you know about engines etc as i've alwasy wanted to do my own bits but never had the knowledge and haynes are a pain?

i first learn about engine internals when i was 12. i was buying mopeds at the time and selling them on at about 600% profit (i was the only kid in skool with a £20 note lol)

i then was given a blown up one so i ripped the engine apart and sorted it.

at 13 i got a job as a saturday lad in a bike shop and then in a years time i was the weekend mechanic.

then when i was 14 i bought a honda vfr400 and rebuilt the engine and also had a cbr400 at the time that i rebuilt

i also had minis and was always fixing them....as you do! ive never had my dad around to do things for me so just done them myself and now its spirled out of control lol

that enuff of my life story
