GTi splitter fitting help

yup, thats right, this is a piece of piss to get off, the gti splitter dont like going on but if u have patience it will, took me like 5 mins, just dont get annoyed wen u do it hehe

yh lookin good, mine got f***ed in my little run in wiv a push bike so the old standard one is back on :(

looking good mate, but looks to me it still needs pushing in (or might be the angle of picture) ...sitting down on the floor and using your feet, and hold the fog light cover bit thats what i done anyway.

How much bigger is the gti splitter?? I.e top to bottom.

Ive been thinking about one of these with an lcr splitter on it but the only issue is clearance as my car is lowered 60mm at the front and my town has speed bumps pretty much everywhere!?

Its straight forward to fit the LCR splitter onto the GTI spoiler. all you need is 10 little self tappers and a hacksaw. Offer the LCR splitter to the GTI one, then hold it in place using some duck tape. Next screw on using the self tappers and then chop off about 3cm from each end to make the ends flush with the bumper.

Job done should look like this:
