will winding the actuater in currently cracks at 15 psi if i set it up so it cracks at 17psi and increase the timing can this improve the lag as its only on T5 at the minute making sure the cf stay down!!
Its never gonna spool that quick anyway, just check the exhaust side out compared to a t25 flanged 28rs.
i know its not gonna be that quick but i want to get it down to peak at 4000 at least, check exhaust side out?equal lenth tubular manifold?
right update is ive now shortened the actuator rod and it now spools to i.6 bar holding 1.5 to the redline what are the best blocks to log to make sure the turbo is at safe limits, and also i should be getting an sps3 soon so i can adjust the timing as im only on T5 cos im know seeing 0 cfs will increasing the timing reduce spool time?
any update on this whats the lag like now when does it spool up. be okay to drive around or full to laggy?
gonna do some logs next week certainly feels better, and i have replaced the map sensor pipe now the sound is awesome off the turbo spooling and i have got a new cone filter that has made loads of difference!!
metal filters can't filter out the grit & **** that will rub your engine to bits.......

have you got a 3" maf on there? is it the housing from an s3? is the neck 80mm
id imagine you'll need a much bigger filter than that, look at the jetex ones

Definatly want a cotton gauze filter for best results, and would need to be twice the size of that one, mines about 3/4 times as big as that on a k03 turbo lol
Not all cars with a 3" maf will be flowing 300bhp tho.
I`d recommend somthing from the jetex range with the correct flow rate.
