I wouldn't read several posts of the spoiler coming off on the motorway lol, i just stuck screwdriver in and measured the gap and found a bolts the same length. Sorry my post was a bit confusing, also you do not re use the white clips that hold the brake light in on the cupra spolier you don't need them. I only re used one clip that holds it one the rest all snapped off they are a bloody rip off to buy too they are designed to snap off really it says in the Seat workshop manual whenever they are used to get new clips.

Thank you so much for the advise!! I am taking spoiler to bodyshop tues to get it sprayed . As you say I won't re use the brake light clips. As for the white ones I got 4 new ones with the spoiler. Result !! So it doesn't matter if they break. I will try the 4 bolts and if the 2 centres don't fit I will get slightly longer ones .

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Really helpful.

I've prob been ripped off lol but I know they do a good job and match. I did ask for extra primer aswell coz the standard seat primer was soooo thin. Getting it done for 100 quid cash.? I have no idea if this is good or bad ? But I'm happy to pay it.

Good to know. I always think a price is right if your willing to pay it lol. Looking forward to fitting it when I get it back .

Well its on!!!! all plastic clips broke off. what a great design[:@] i did forget to put the grommet back in before i put the spoiler back on DOH!!!! what an idiot:shrug:. does this really matter? i did stuff some blue tack kinda stuff in the hole so it sealed it up. hope this is ok ? and yep middle 2 bolts where too short as i was told. also as i was told i didnt need the white plastic clips to hold brake light on. thanks aimez :)

other than that alls well apart from a scratch i saw on the back edge grrrrrrrrr going back to bodyshop in the morning and hoping they can cut it out as it notices:(

I'm not happy with spray job so it's coming off!!! Gona order new plastic clips as they break grrrr. Bloody body shop!! They only had to spray the dam thing. It's got a nice scratch on the paint . Not good enuff for me!!!

Just right mate. You expect a good finish when your paying to get it painted, bring it back and tell them to respray it.

Well they um and arh a bit. And made a whistling noise though his teeth but agreed to take spoiler off and repaint the lot . God I hope it comes out better this time lol

does anyone know where i can purchase some more of the bolts? im missing one for some reasons. ive never taken the spoiler off.
thanks in advance

4 bolts and you have to hit it hard from underneath towards the back !! It's on quite hard with kind of press stud clips . I hit mine off ok but once I put my cupra one on and needed to remove it, I couldn't lol. I left it alone as I was really hitting it and it wouldn't move . If yours has been on a while it should pop off ok. If you break it i think I have a silver one spare somewhere ..

Thats really good to know, knowing my luck
Well ive got an 52 reg car, so ent too new. Im looking on finding a cupra spoiler, bumpers etc later on bc im only doing small mods that wont affect insurance atm, where could i find some when i comes to it?

Little stuff and cupra rear spoiler from Dave at sere motors. He's fantastic !!! Based in Ireland but he does great prices and really knows his stuff. I've had rear spoiler , mirror covers, front grilles, fog surrounds from him . Bumpers are too big to post though. I've only done cosmetic mods aswell. Oh I forgot rear fr light clusters aswell..
