How badly kerbed is it? If you have only done one swap it with the spare and use that till you smack at least one more. It is very difficult to get a good match and you don't want an odd one out.

I have kerbed 3 of mine and the way I look at it its going to happen.... Going to get them all done at once.

I inexplicably blew a tire on the way home from work yesterday and there's a big bite out of my front nearside alloy! got robbed for a new tire too as it was 5pm before i got to the nearest town and only one place was open and i needed a new tyre to get to work today as you can only go so far on the spare!

not in mine. It's a bog standard wheel with a 50mph by 50miles tyre. it only misses the brake caliper by a ball hair.

I'm now considering powder coating the wheels black matt as there are a few dents/scrapes on the wheels. not sure what they will come up like though as they are standard and then there's the plastic bit the hides the wheel nuts to consider ... hmmm.

I have just had 2 of mine repaired by chips-away. £50 each and he polished out a load of minor scratches and did all the bonet chips for nothing.

When he had finished I could not even tell it had been repaired or where the original damage was. A perfect colour match.

If its really bad though I would recommend getting it shot bast, filled and then re-painted. i think you can get this done for about £80 per wheel.

Good luck...

Have look on www.revive-uk.com as they did mine. They should have a guy near you i should think, just put your post code in and they should come up with a representetive for them near you. I had my cupra wheels done by these guys and they looked excellent compared to when i gave them them. They were badly kerbed and in silver. I got them refurbed and sprayed in a different colour all for £200.

Down my way theres a company called 'the plastic surgeon' - they're excellent at repairing any interior/exterior damage and never having to replace a part.
